  • The Kansas Firefighter Calendar functions under a completely volunteer basis. We appreciate the firefighters who are willing to join our cause to support Coats for Kids and The Kansas Firefighters Museum.

Entry: Male and female firefighters of all ages are welcome to apply. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be actively volunteering , employed, or retired from a Kansas Fire Department regardless of residence.

Submit a photo that shows you at your best (No more than two photos, close up and full body shot)

    Men: photos may be shirtless.
Women: sports, fitted crop-tops are welcomed.
Everyone: NO skimpy bikinis or inappropriate pictures, as these will automatically disqualify your entry.

What to expect at the Judging Event:
Phase One: Firefighters will be interviewed by local celebrity judges. This will be a short and fun. Questions may be based from the information in your application. They want to know about your passion for your career and what you do for your community. There may be some tongue & cheek fun questions, too.
Intermission: You will be allowed to change clothes and prepare for the second phase of judging.
Phase Two: Time to have some fun! Firefighters may request a more detailed interview; but, are encouraged to show any talents or skills to the judges in Phase Two. Props are welcome. All “acts” and props must be pre-approved. (Past “talents”- rubix cube in a minute, gymnastics flips, push-ups, dancing, spinning a fire tool, lip-sinking, or just strutting your stuff) For fun, firefighters are allowed to bring “gifts” to the judges, like fire safety stickers, candy, etc.
Please help us keep our event PG-13! We are proud to have an event that is fun for everyone. No lap dances or inappropriate touching of guests or judges.
Optional: Male firefighters are allowed to remove their shirts, females are allowed to wear sports tops or Tank tops. No bikinis or skimpy attire. Shorts are allowed in Phase Two.
Firefighters are encouraged to bring their bunker gear, boots and department t-shirts.
Winners selected to be in the calendar agree to:

Attend the introductory meeting. Attend two photo shoots including the individual and group shoots. Attend the debut event for calendar release. Attend 75% of events, throughout the year.
